We begin by establishing the number, type and condition of the extinguishers requiring disposal. Once requirements have been confirmed, we arrange suitable containment and coordinate collection and transportation using approved procedures, including ADR transport where the contents require it.
Units are then processed at authorised facilities, where they are safely depressurised and separated. Steel and aluminium cylinders are recovered as scrap metal, and extinguishing agents are treated through the appropriate route depending on their composition.
